Chris Peryagh : Baritone Saxophone

I started playing alto sax in a local big band (local for me anyway - in Bognor) run by the late Dickie Barnes when I was 15, then went onto baritone soon after and have played baritone in most big bands in the Sussex area including the LCS/Phoenix based in Littlehampton, Ronnie Smith's in Worthing, Dave Pearson's at the Blue Lagoon in Hilsea Lido, Dave Masters' in Brighton, Denis Wright's in Henfield. Also more serious stuff with Southern Winds Concert Band in Brighton and other local concert bands, orchestras and sax quartets.

I earn my living finishing oboes and cors anglais and other woodwind repairs. I study oboe/cor with Martha Brown in Chichester, then attend Chi Tech afterwards to try and understand some Jazz theory and get to grips with improvising too.
